Mission Statement

SmarterShade’s mission is to provide people with innovative ways of controlling the properties of their windows. While controlling light transmission, privacy, clarity, and reflection we also have a positive impact on our environment. SmarterShade will provide a superior solution to window shading that every homeowner can afford.

Vision

Our Vision is not to darken the world, but to lighten it. We are not looking for new things to do, but better ways to do them. The term window “shade” applied to a large building brings the visions of hundreds of dark windows, rather than those that are clear. These windows are perpetually dark, because drawing and manipulating blinds is a hassle. Blinds darken most rooms, used to block rather than control light. SmarterShade is a more usable form of light control. The end result is more light than dark.
